Hildebrand to race for USA at Brands

Team USA will give JR Hildebrand his A1GP race debut at Brands Hatch next weekend, in place of Marco Andretti.

Andretti has raced for the team since the second round of the year, alongside his IndyCar campaign in America, but will sit out the British event which takes place just three days before the first practice session for the Indianapolis 500.

JR Hildebrand is a good driver but i'm not sure if he is capable of creating much of a stir up in the A1GP race at Brands Hatch.

The problem is that there are lot more capable drivers on the A1GP circuit that have alot more talent.

i think J R Hildebrand deserve for this.i feel sad about Andretti but according to me the reason for this replacement is the increase in the competition as it is getting tougher and tougher everyday.

Are the dates wrong on these posts? J.R. already raced at Brands Hatch, qualified and finished 4th in the Sprint and had contact on the first lap in turn 1 of the feature.

Seemed like he held his own against the competition.

Hildebrand has got a golden chance to make his appearance for USA in A1 GP this weekend. He must be looking to impress all by his driving skills.I support USA's decision to give him a chance.
