Male or Female?

Just out of interest, are there any girls on this forum? I was talking to my mate Craig the other day, and he said that F1 is a male dominated sport, both with drivers and fans. I'd like to prove him wrong.

Even though I can't speak on behalf of women, I think it is true that in general, when it comes to cars, engines and speed, it is something that appeals more to men. :cool:

well im a girl and im a member of the World Racing Forum... even though it is a male dominant sport and i might not be very into it, but i would like to know more about it and im very interested to be honest.
I hope more girls join in.

Interesting :) I agree with the perception that the sport is primarily men...most (not all) girls don't seem to find much of a thrill at getting oily and dirty, and fast cars and such. The only girls I typically see are the chicks on the hoods of the cars which is an entirely different concept...it's interesting to see so many girls here already.
