View Full Version : Best NASCAR Driver?

The Best F1 driver has been done to death, but I don't think this discussion has come up as of yet. Who do you think the best NASCAR driver is? I think after this season, Kevin Harvick deserves the nod but Dale Earnhardt Junior always seems to be up there too. What do you think? It'll be interesting to see everyone else's opinion!

I guess that's a tough question in any motorsport. Earnhardt Junior and Harvick are clearly out there, but so are Stewart and Johnson. They are all great drivers...

What's nice is that they are all competing for victories. This makes it more difficult to (maybe it's always difficult :p ) really say who's the best. :confused:

There are 2 drivers that stand out among the rest, in my opinion, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart, they have both won championships in more than one style of racing, and have proven their ability on most every style of track. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is a good driver, but he is a popular driver, very different from a "best" driver. Yeah, I know, he's been in the Chase twice, but Elliot Sadler has been in the Chase, he's definitely not one of the best NASCAR drivers. Much of getting in the Chase is your equipment and your luck. Mark Martin is probably the best NASCAR driver to never win a championship. Greg Biffle is also gaining groung as one of the best drivers in NASCAR.

Im late getting in on this one..

In my opinion....Jeff Gordon is the best.:)

Jeff Gordon is the only one I know by name so I say he is teh bestest. :thumbsup:

Ever, i'd say Ricahrd Petty, but it could be Dale Sr.... but as i'm not a big fan of NASCAR i preffer to dont afirme anything :o

Jeff Gordon, I would also throw in Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson.

Although on the Australian front it would be Marcos Ambrose.:finishfirst:

Then Tony Stewart.
