I was bored, so I thought I would look for some trials vids. It's pretty hard to find one that's good and not 3 seconds long!
Sorry! I didn't pick the music... You may want to turn down the sound. Or not *shrugs*.

I have some friends that are pretty good and been doing it for years. A few years back they took me to the club property to check it out. I mountain-biked with them for the most part *FWEW!*, NO chance to keep up with them on the trails.
Needless to say, at the end of the ride, and a couple of beers, my good friend says, "Wanna try it?". DUH?!? What, am I gonna say no?:wonder: .
Now these bikes aren't like any other bike out there really, and certainly didn't behave like anything I had been on before.
Virtually no seat, mushy tires and lower than low gearing. I'd ridden MX and street, but this was a whole new world. Needless to say, said good friend gave me his pride and joy, a GasGas 250, and said, "Just go putter around some of the obsticles, keep it in first and take it easy. IT'S EASY!" Well...
I wasn't on the bike 5 minutes until I thought I had a "reasonable understanding" of how the bike reacted when I thought I would take on one of the HUGE tires they had placed around the clubhouse as a hit. (Keep in mind, there are about 20-30 people hanging around and I'm the only one out there).
I get the front tire up on the 30 some inch tire and try to get enough clutch/gas/brake to get the a** end up and stop. Well:rolleyes:... When the back came up, the jolt had me inadvertanly pin the throttle sending me airborne, then dirtborne. The bike happily rode away riderless for about a hundred yards or so and gently laid itself down on it's side.
This was the one and only time I'd ever broken a bone. Cracked a small bone in my wrist. I couldn't hear everyone laughing and clapping over my fear I had busted up my friends ride. The bike ended up better than me.
Sorry for the long story... yeah I know it's not racing:o
