Avatar Requests

As you know, every few months there is a major avatar overhaul. If you have a certain avatar you would like to see in the next avatar update, please post it here :thumbsup:

Any other suggestions are welcome :D

Some gif. or animated avatars would be a nice touch.
There was a small picture on the MotoGP site of an on-board camera ride, that fizzled in and out with interference, on a loop of course, that I always thought would make a great avatar.

Will definitely test a few, but may not be included in the next update. If there are any specific ones you guys are looking for please post them here soon, because the next update may already be in a week...

Being able to upload our own avatars would be nice. It would add a personal touch for the members. I understand that there may be the issue of 'inapropriate' content, but maybe keep the 10 post rule in effect. Otherwise, the Mod Squad could remove anything deemed 'racey' (pardon the pun). HA! Get it? RACEy. :rolleyes:

You make a good point, but there are other factors that are taken into consideration, such as speed of page loads, avatar quality and format.

Maybe, as you said, it can be introduced for established members with higher post counts. But then again these can be tailored by the World Racing Forum based on the requests posted here :)

There are few problems with that. First of all that vulgar or indecent material you said. It's very hard for us moderators to keep an eye on ~500 forum members avatars if they are ok or not. There is also things with avatar sizes etc... So I think for now you just have to keep posting us avatar requestes :)

Hey DR, you can upload your own avatar. It will be slightly smaller than the WRF avatars, but you can do it. If there is a particlular image you want to call your own, post it here or PM Jo or myself the image link, and we'll make it a regular sized one. Then all you have to do is select it from the gallery. We'll PM you when it's ready.

No new avatar requests will be accepted until the new avatar look is implemented. Shouldn't be too long ;)

I haven't seen it in a while though. Try updating your CP;)
