He definitely has the experience, consistency and the car to make it happen.
At 39 years of age, winning the title this season could be a great closure his NEXTEL / Winston cup career that so far spanned 19 wins and 182 top tens :)

I'd like to see Jeff Burton win the title, he's of the old hands that I remember from back when I started watching NASCAR. I don't like most of these new kids, they're all so cocky.
That said my favourite is Jeff Gordon, so as long as one of those two I guess I'll be happy.

You know, if there were more road courses, I'd probably watch more. I don't remember which one it was at the begining of the season, Mexico maybe? But it was a WAY better spectator experience for me in my opinion. What I mean to say is that it was the only one to hold my interest. When I think of NASCAR, I think oval (amongst other things:rolleyes: ), and to me oval = BORING!

I don't think Burton will get it, i think Jeff Gordon will win it this year.

Yea, Gordon is in good shape too and he's been very consistent over the past few races :cool:
