FINALLY!
The weather has been great, sunny and warm at last. I'm going flyfishing in the morning and doing the domestics in the afternoon. Sunday, racing of the 2 wheeled variety on the tube from 9am to 4pm:D . (There may be beer and BBQ involved;) )
What's everyone up to this weekend? Give us the gory details.

My weekend won't be all that exciting. A friend of my wife's is coming over for dinner this evening and since my wife had to work today that means I have to do the cooking. The friend happens to be vegetarian so my plan is a vego lasagna that's actually quite tasty.
I probably have to do some serious tidying up too as it looks like a bomb went off in here....

I got up early (7am which is early for me:p ) and rode around looking at various garage sales. Nothing much doing there though. So I rode downtown and deposited my pay check.
I have a lot saved from work for I decided to spend some of it, so I bought Moto GP 06 for the XBOX 360. With a new game to learn it's safe to say that most of today and much of yesterday are now booked.

I got up a 4:45 and was on the water by 5:30. Which was pointless really:rolleyes: . Nice day, but nary a fishy to be had:mad:
I'm jealous! That game looks sweet! I still have yet to master Tourist Trophy. How's the game?? I just got Tiger Woods '07 for the PS2 a little over a week ago, so that's been eating up some time.

I have TW07 aswell, but I don't play it much.
Moto GP seems good, but I find it very difficult. I have never played a Moto GP game before and I don't really know anything about Motorcycle racing, and I have never actually been on a motorized bike of anykind. It will probably take me a long time to get used to.
I decided I wanted to try out motorcycle racing after reading an article in the paper this morning about the Isle of Man TT race.

I'm doing the Team Tour right now, so I can build up my strengh and ability before taking on a whole tour. I just can't get past John Daly in Central Park:mad:

I had a hell of a time with TT as well. I haven't played it much in the past few months, and as time goes by, it's EASY to get rusty. It's like I have to learn it all over again:confused: The biggest thing, just like real riding, is to try and stay off the rear brake as much as you can, and be smooth with the front. The game probably has an auto option, but you'll have a much better experience if you differentiate the front and rear on your controller.

What a function that is eh!? I've wanted to go and see it for years. They're are some really cool B&B's and hostels that cater specifically to TT visitors. It get's booked up fast and early, and it's not terribly cheap. That's one BAD A** race! I just watched a BBC documentary DVD about it, from the 70's. Lot's of lives lost at the IOM:cry:

that means I have to do the cooking.
If I didn't do the cooking in our house, we'd starve. Or be forced to eat take-out every night:lol: The Mrs. can't cook:rolleyes: But I can, and I really enjoy it actually. Spicy is my favorite. Mmm, Cajun.
How was the veggie lasagna. Did it at least have cottage cheese?

Yup, cottage cheese, spinach and parmesan for the white stuff (well.. white/green stuff) and tomato sauce with lots of paprika and garlic. I think it turned out pretty tasty. :)
