I doubt that Ducati is going to sign Rossi. They have an incredible driver as it is, and with Rossi on board tensions between team mates may be counterproductive to their respective performances.
Also remember that Rossi is in a stage of his career where he doesn't want to put himself in a risky position. Like Michael Schumacher, he probably wants a team mate he can 'handle', rather than a youngster who really could beat him
Of course if Rossi leaves Yamaha, the situation becomes different. But I do think that Rossi will remain loyal to Yamaha while the Stoner / Ducati combination will likely continue ;)

Keep in mind that before his contract renewal with Yamaha, he was in some pretty serious discussions with both Ducati (who courted him) and Ferrari. He's even stated how significant it would be to ride for the Italian bike manufacturer. I don't think he's one of those 'control' types, and I also believe he'd be a great team mate. He and Colin Edward get along just fine, and this might be Capirossi's last season with MotoGP (that's mearly my opinion) and that leaves an open seat:wonder:.
If he went to WSBK, one can only imagine the quarrels between he and Max would pick up right where they left off:lol:.

I feel the WSBK, in terms of prestige and popularity, is a step down from MotoGP. That's why I don't see Rossi taking that corner ;)

I agree but I thought I'd throw that in there. If anyone is going to WSBK it'll be Capirossi.
In the interest of relevance, I've changed the option of WSBK to WRC:)

I don't know. If Rossi went to Ferrari he'd be a test driver (which is great and all), I just don't see him stepping out of the spotlight. Ferrari has two top drivers in Massa and Raikkonen so he'd be waiting at least a year or two. I can see a move to WRC if he thinks he can be a contender.

Should he leave Yamaha that is.
