So now there's going to be 2 stops on the MotoGP circuit next year. Fine, I have no problem with that. But why Indy??? Other than the fact you can cram as many ***'s as you can in that many seats. Come on. Forget 'history'. There are many, many, more beautiful and challenging tracks in North America. Watching bikes at Indy is truly lame.

You didn't know about this already?

It's all money. Indy will generate much, much more money than any other track in America.

Are you sure it won't be this season? I heard Sept. 9th, but it usually takes a season. I agree that there are better tracks. At least MotoGP recognizes the value of 2 US races.

Yeah, I knew about it. When I first heard about it though, I thought it was just chatter. I didn't put much stock into it. I get the money generating part too. I'm still disappointed. To me, it feels like it's 'cheapening' the sport. Indy is Indy, because it's 'Indy'. They still pulled in over 100,000 people to Laguna (a beautiful venue), in the middle of nowhere, and 2 previous events that were managed sub-par.

It is next year in Sept. Now let's see 3 in North America the year after. One in Canada:D! Mind you the pickin's are slim for tracks here:wonder:.

I agree about Indy being "Indy" cuz it's Indy.....huh? Anyway, There are plenty of MotoGP worthy tracks. Go to AMA's website and check out the superbike schedule for a list.

There are no Canadian tracks up to Moto GP standards. The Canadian Superbike series only has 7 races and none of the tracks are major facilities(anymore).

Someday I will go to Mosport to see the Canadian Superbikes, if Laguna is a rush to watch I can only imagine what Mosport would be like...

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D:D:D:D:D

I knew what you meant. I was just saying there are plenty of alternatives instead of Indy.
