Hello all fellow BATracers!

There is now new feature in the game, the clans.

These are simply a means for players to organise themselves into groups allowing more organised team play and generally increase the community nature of BATracer.

A clan gets its own private chat room for its members, as well as some limited customization such as a clan logo which is attached to your profile. A clan search page shows a profile for an individual clan, listing its members and their rankings.

However, there is a twist! To create some added competition between clans, there is now a clan ranking table. This is based on the average score of its members, and with a limited number of members per clan, some of the top groups could become very exclusive!

What do you guys think, should we build up a WRF clan there?
And if so, who will create it?

That a cool idea they came up with. I'd leave it in the ever capable hands of Jo to sort that out for now. You two can have hammer it out I'm sure:thumbsup:. But feedback from the peeps would be nice.

I'd join the clan for sure, being GM and all, I'd sorta feel obligated. BUT! If it has a ranking system in place for the clan, my 'only playing in the WRF League' might hurt the clans overall ranking:o. Unless I win a bunch!:rolleyes: Hah! Riiiight.

I'm not that interested of our clan rankings, just my own :lol:
But wrf clan would be cool tho. We will also get a small banner to the BATracer clanpages (free advertise).:thumbsup:

Sounds like a great idea, I'll set up one within the next two days or so and post more information once it becomes available :)

I've already joined a clan and I think you can only join one. So unfortunately I may be out of this clan.:(

Yeah, only one clan per account so it's kinda lame. I was hoping Ryan would join us coz he is so active but you cannot always win! Maybe I have to keep the clan in top 10 by myself then! :rolleyes:

Sounds good :) Already sent them an invite, can't find the name of Flibble on BATracer though. Do you remember his name?

Flibble is fernando waldren, he seems to have zillion accounts :p
And dr.sickle is fulvio barrozini, tho he is in a clan already.

Don't know about the others...

Yea Ryan! How can there be a WRF clan and you not be part of it :(? Besides the WRF Clan is ranked 59th and is very close to the clan you're part of right now.

The thing about national clans is that there are many of them. Give it another thought, I know all of us would be delighted to have you onboard ;)

I like my clan though. :o

I know many of the people in it, like John Harvey (who introduced me to BATracer), Rick Natividad, and Sam Clark. And there are also many people there who I've wanted to team with for sometime, and being in their clan allows me to know when they have joined a game.
