More importantly, are you going to get your money's worth of use out of it. I've been back and forth on a PSP as well. I would say the burnout game looks nice on there. I like the console better (but who doesn't). :greedy:

If you have a console you're happy with and don't mind opening up your wallet to a PSP, then you have F1 06. My friends tell me it's pretty good
Here's a clip:

Of course if you don't have a PS3, you should consider it. We've been talking about the new F1 game here. (http://www.worldracingforum.com/showthread.php?t=1317) You should check it out: The effects are amazing

Was that PSP footage!?!?! WOW!! I may have to get one of those till I can afford a PS3. Does anyone know if the Games are regional? I live in the US and our F1 games are nonexistant.

Man I never got back to this post. I ended up with a PSP slim and F1 2006. The games are non region coded so you can play a UK version anywhere in the world etc. The graphics are pretty nice but the gameplay is awsome. I highly recomend F1 06 for PSP if you have one. It's really the only alternative to a PS3 for us Americans.

A nice feature of the PSP is the abilty to download demos. I mean full levels too. I have 2 games (F1 '06 and Power stone collection) but I have 5 free demos to play as well. If you can find them online you may be able to get more stuff. The demos I got were at Sony's Official site under downloads.

My dad does, but I'm only at his place during the summer.
We had Moto GP06(awesome) and Forza 2(pretty good).

Hehe , maybe if you cut back on the Danica merchandise it would work out. I'm sure some of that stuff is pretty pricey :wonder:

There are also some membership based sites that allow you to download full games, movies, homebrew stuff, windows xp or vista for the psp etc. If you plan to use it I would say the psp is a great toy to have.
***WARNING!! Do NOT sign up for psp blender It's a scam site***

Well I wasn't sure where to put this but I figured the PSP thread would be ok. I just did some testing on the WiFi on the PSP. I logged into the WRF site and set the PSP to display fit-to-screen. It looks great. Works very well. You can't quick reply and not sure you can use smileys due to the text interface, but the site loads well and you can see all the posts and images like you can on a regular PC. I don't think the youtube stuff loads, but not 100% of that.

I don't know if it's the settings or if I need other codec etc. There is a system sort of like text messeging. Not too hard.
It shows a place holder like when you get the code wrong. A big white box.
