I didn't get to watch this one due to a rain delay. This is getting to be a pain. Anyway, ESPN has a real nice feature called racecast that allows you to watch the telemetry data in real time. It's really pretty nice. You can pick your drivers and watch the data. I think this is exactly what F1 needs in addition to the TV broadcast. I'll give a race recap when I know what happened.

Looks like Kanaan takes the win. Only 7 cars finished after a few crashes and mechanical failures. Danica was running 3rd towards the end until a flat tire put her to 7th. The big event was a major crash on lap 143 sending Dario Franchitti airborne.
Looks like you get 12 pts. for finishing last and $32,600. Not bad for doing nothing.
So the top 3 points shake out like this:
1)Dario Franchitti 494
2)Scott Dixon 470
3)Tony Kanaan 413

Thatwas on in Canada and it was a great race.

I went to that. Pretty crazy race, it's a shame that open wheel racing will not return to MIS next year. I think they are better on that track than the stock cars.

I always hate to see a track go away. I haven't been watching IRL that long so I'm not that attatched to any of the tracks, but still.
