Now that Salty's back it seems like as good a time as any to bail out myself. :D

In about an hours time me and the wife will get into the car and head off to the airport where a plane to Switzerland is standing by. After a few days we'll go to Trier in Germany for a few days there and then it's back to temporary HQ in Switzerland for a some days more. In about 14 days (of rain probably) I'll be back with serious (and potentially very damaging) computer withdrawal symptoms and a pretty much drained bank account.

Looking forward to some peace and quiet, but this Friday a customer of mine sent a big email containing feedback and bug reports for a project that really should be done by now so I'll probably spend the vacation feeling a bit stressed out and really wishing I had a laptop with me so I could get it off my chest.

Ha! Have a great time man! I hope it's not as crazy and a little more relaxing than mine:lol:. I'm having a hell of a time getting acustomed to being home, and definitely NOT looking forward to getting to work.

Don't stress about work. Everyone needs time away. Make sure you take lots of pics. I'm working on getting mine arranged right now to get some up. Check 'em out when you get home.

Have a great flight! When you get back, hopefully we'll have the BATRacer game all set up and ready to go.

CHEERS!! See ya!

I'm back! :D

We had a great time although it wasn't that relaxing since my sister in law's 1,5 year old kid did his best to drain our energy.

I really enjoyed Zürich, where we spent most of the time, although the Swiss German is really quite impossible to understand for a Swede with only some years of basic school German. The motorways in Switzerland seems a bit too under dimensioned for the amount of traffic they get. They were all just one big long queue. Quite a fair number of Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches and Jaguars to look at while standing in the queues though. :D

Then we went to Trier in Germany and that town was really beautiful and the prices in the stores and restaurants was a bit more to my liking than the scary prices in Switzerland. And the beer.... mmm... the beer...

We took a day-trip to Luxembourg as well but the rain was pouring down that day, unfortunately.

On the way home we stopped by in Strassbourg and took a stroll through the old town (or Little France, or whatever it was called). Very nice. :)

All in all a good trip and a big bag of Swiss chocolate waiting to be eaten!
