Hey man! Don't forget about Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Man I wish I was there with my Canadian Liver. And I love Indian food. Butter chicken and Naan is by far my favorite. What's the Vodka in the driver?

I just golfed all day with good friend, and we got paired up with a dude I went to HIGH school with:eek:, and his buddy. REFRESHMENTS FOR EVERYBODY!!! It's weird to see a dude you haven't seen in 17 years! Needless to say, I'm the slimmest, not-marriedest, and the no kidest of the foursome:cool:. Not to mention the best looking....

I've got most everything. I have more in the freezer, Vodka, gin, and the killer, Ouzo. WHoooo!! That S**t is hardcore. Only drink I'm afraid of.

Ouzo. WHoooo!! That S**t is hardcore. Only drink I'm afraid of.

HA! You haven't met my good friend Absinthe then. Makes Ouzo look like kids stuff:cool:. You can't buy or sell it in North America, but you can own and consume it. There are some great ones from the Czech Republic.

*The only things that scare me now are Tequila and Everclear. The former and I have a weird past and the later, well I'm just plain too smart for that.

EIR Loe.307
19th Aug 2007, 04:10 AM
Not made it to the green devil yet. Tequila I'm cool with (my fav. and i do the tequila & OJ but only Cuervo Gold or 1800) Everclear is supposed to be a garnish used to make flaming drinks (Dad and Mom were bartenders in another lifetime ie. in their 20's) I've recently been on a Rum tip. Rum & Coke, Rum & Pineapple juice, Rum, Pina Colada's, etc. There are a few "Absinthes" out there. Not the real stuff though so I'm holding out. Not sure about the rest of the world but the "Long Island Ice Tea" is pretty bad a**!! That will get you toasted in a hurry. Not sure if they have that elsewhere I mean.

I dont drink much, I haven't been drunk in almost 6 months.

And I haven't the slightest idea what any of the drinks you guys about are. Especially the mixing stuff..Screwdrivers...

I drink Beer, and rum. (I did spot some Captain Morgan:thumbsup:)

saltysurprise
19th Aug 2007, 04:26 AM
I'm not big on the mixed drinks myself. Nor the hard stuff in general. Gin and juice and sangria, some wine maybe. But beer and I are akin to Popeye and spinach.

'The green monster' tastes alot like Ouzo. The real stuff is made from wormwood. That's what contains the component that gives it that 'Funk'. And I don't mean odour:cool:.

Watch your mail box. I know of a guy who ships it from the Czech republic. The real deal, but it's really :greedy: for the good stuff.

EIR Loe.307

Tequila Sunrise = Tequila, Orange Juice, and Grenadine. If made right it's wery good and not too bad as far as tasting the Tequila.

A screwdriver is Vodka and OJ (Someone please verify)

Long is land ice tea = just about everything and a little coke to top it off. I don't know a good mix recipe yet but they are awsome at Bennigan's.

Jack Daniel's (Whiskey) and either coke or 7UP to fit your taste.

There are so many, but a lot of them are fruity and a lot of them can be strong in tast. It's just finding what you like. Some people like beer and shots. Whatever gets the job done though right?

Ryan
19th Aug 2007, 04:33 AM
I've only done tequilia a couple of times, and for whatever reason I like the taste very much.

When doing shots, I only take the salt and lemon to not look wierd compared to others, I like the taste as it is...Is that bad?:wonder:

I've had Vodka and OJ, but didn't know what it was called.

The time (other than now) that I've even heard of Ouzo was in the movie Grand Prix.

Screwdrivers are part of a complete breakfast. Haven't you seen the Froot Loops ads? Vodka and orange juice baby! It goes great with eggs benny too:D. Now I want breakfast:lol:.

Is that bad?:wonder:

Yes, now you're on a never ending downward spiral of depression and dispair. Quit, now while your're ahead! Plus, it's just gross.

SoCo (Souther Comfort) and Coke over ice is nice.

What's the Vodka in the driver?

It was "tasavalta viina" translates to "republic booze". A cheap 0.7 litre bottle of vodka with flag of finland printed to it's label. Korma was excellent and so is my hangover. We left the house at about 10pm? to local bars and I found myself wandering on the streets at 3am, took a cab home and my gf woke me up at the noon, i was sleeping on the floor.

I do stay clear of the Tequila though.

I guess being in south Texas, we get our fill. The only good Tequila is Cuervo. Trust me, I'm an expert. Patron tastes like poojangles and it costs more. Get the Cuervo Gold or 1800 (gold) if you are going to try it. Gold tequilas have a better flavor.

I'm on the flip side to a lot of folks. I hate Vodka with a passion. Can't stand it. I like Rums, and Tequila, and sometimes a good whiskey or Scotch.

That was a pretty good weekend.

On Friday a bunch of my friends and I started drinking and ended up on an impromptu pub-crawl through the town we live in. The last thing I remember was it was like 2:30am the bar was trying to get everyone out and my buddy poured the last of his beer on my pants (and then some more on himself) because he couldn't finish it.

And last night there was this party being run by the student union at my university, it's a yearly thing which in the past was a pretty good time, so I go over with some friends pay the $10 to get in.

Good god! it was like middle school with alcohol in there. We stayed for like 10 minutes. So there's $10 well spent.

We come back to our house and ended up just sitting in the basement kitchen drinking beer (on of my buddies opened beer with a spatula) and eating KD, and then ordering a couple of larger orders of garlic fingers.

So it was good party night on friday, and then some good laid back drinking on Saturday. And despite all this drinking I still managed to get up for all the F1 sessions.:D

Toskala ain't that good you know. ;)
Finnish goaltenders are now in fashion because of Niittymäki, Kiprusoff and Lehtonen. Backström played quite good last season when he came out from the bench, and he was a top goalie in finnish nationals 'sm-liiga' (sm = suomen mestaruus = finnish championship for those who giggle about this, yes salty it's you) for many years. So maybe he will make a breakthru this year.

Also there is Norrena, who is 'old' and very consistent. But Lehtonen was ****ing amazing in Finland when he was around 18 and I believe that he will be one of the greatest if his progress keeps going. Former Oilers Stanley Cup finals goalie Jussi Markkanen, another finn is now playing in Finland and well, he is good but here is lot better goalies also :)

We have now this 16? year old promising goalie named Niko Hovinen playing in 'Jokerit' as second choice for Markkanen. Hovinen is about 2 metres long and when he does the butterfly there is maybe 10 square centimeters available on the goal :D

Kiprusoff is over-rated. He would be sooo much better if he had more confidence, not just in himself, but some decent D-men to do their job. And he's not really that old. He may 'mature' in the next few years, he may not.

Darn! It's 3am here and when I'm getting to the ZONE where I could drink gazillion beers more, my GF begins to vomit and is going to sleep. Well more to me then, the more the merrier!

And what it comes to tomorrows F1 season finale, we are going to have this friend couple to come to our flat to watch the GP and the guy is from England. So me and my GF are going to wear all the Ferrari gear I've gathered here during the years, and she is going to wear this red dress and we put Ferrari stickers on that. khihihhi .

it was student night and i went to mates party. they supplied beer as heiniken was on special at $9.99 a dozen. im not a big fan of it but when i get offered it i feel bad if i say no.

15 of us got through 200 cans which equates to about 13 and 1/3 each (the rumours of New Zealand having one of the worst binge drinking cultures is not true:lol:) but to be fear to us it was end of exams and we wanted to have a good time.

plus the three Jager Bomb tripples i had before i went probably didn't help.(you may not have heard of Jager Bombs in Europe as they are mainly a kiwi and ozzy thing aparently)

Boy howdy what a weekend I had.

Had a soccer trip to a tournament a few hours away on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Game on Friday night with 2 subs, 3 games on Saturday with no subs, then then 2 on Sunday, the first with only 2 subs, and 10 men because one of our defenders was sent off early. The final game of the weekend was a regular league game back at our home field, with 3 subs, which we won 8-0.

Saturday night was just a boozefest, we were so tired and dehydrated, because it was very hot and very humid that day, so we were all drunk after like 5 drinks.:drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:

Had a soccer game tonight, we're down 2-0 came back to win 3-2. We all had a couple drinks at the field after the game. Now I'm back home and thinking I could do with few more in celebration.:drunk::drunk::drunk:
