I scored a P3 in quali and in the race in my f1 game. Not too bad for a rookie (quote my teamie) I'm holding 2nd overall in my BMW. 4 races in with one DNF. 1 pole, no wins. Feel like a Lewis Hmailton some days. Hehehehe.

I'm sucking mega hard in the A1GP and CHAMP Car games. I'm slowly moving up a bit. I was dead last in all sessions and have started moving towards the middle. Hopefully I'll get near the upper middle before the end of the season.

Well the CHAMP Car game was exciting. Started 14th, dropped to last on the start :eek:. Battled up tpo 6th, pit, went back into the teens, battled all the way to 4th at one point. Ended up 12th (I think). Safety cars galore. To bad for Salty crashing out. I got by Jo but right near the end he passed me and was off into the distance. Oh well. At least I finished higher than my quali.

Well that was probably the smartest thing. I wasn't going to take on any games either, but I just couldn't resist. Now I'm crashing left and right. My garages look like a wreckers' yard:rolleyes:. OH THE HUMANITY!!

My F1 game almost became a total loss. I'm still not sure wtf happened in quali. and such. I started last, BUT, due to some pit strategy and starting on inters, I was able to jump into the top 10 on lap 1. (Most of the rest had to pit for tires) I managed to get up through some guys and took the lead for 5-6 laps. Unfortunatly I had one more pit to make. Fell back to 8th and battled to 5th by the finish. Not to bad from last.

It's not as bad as it looks. With the help of a teammate you can usually get the setup almost perfect for the first or second session, and the BTCC, A1GP and V8s have more than 2 sessions in a row at one venue (4, 3 and 4 respectively) so most of the time it's checking results and saying hi to your teammate.

Can get manic if there are a lot of first qualifying sessions on one day though!! :lol:

Running 12 games at the time is just too much for me. It's just hack and slash. Now I'm running only public and private slots full and have time to focus on everything much better = better results :)

I don't pay a lot of attention to the results in the mid-season games. I use it as an experimental area, outside of the WR, leaving the public games for the rankings. have been left in the lurch by teammates before so like to help out people too.

The private games give me a chance to run the series that don't come up in the public games very much. More of a novelty than anything else. Except for the WRF league of course...that's war!! :finishfirst:

I totally feel the same way. It's a real time eater when you get too many, plus it's just a damn coin flip it seems for every race. Way too random, way too many retirements. There's other things, but I'm not going to get into that. It's gotten to the point it's annoying to me.

I'm letting mine get down to just the games I really like. I hadn't played any of them so I just started trying them all. No more Solo Champ car, no A1GP, maybe no BTCC, and hell not to BAT seven. I'll play any of the F1 games, the Enduro series, maybe some more V8's, if they ever get motogp I'll play that.

I would like to play some actual racing games where I get to drive though.

That's a bitter pill to swallow. Sorry to hear that mate. So far I haven't had it quite that bad. Be thankfull it's just a mid-season BTCC game and not a 'bigger' (if you catch my meaning) game.

This is my first stint in a Spyker coming up, so I might just have similar results:wonder:

I decided to give A1GP another shot. I took over a mid season seat for team Ireland with 4 races left. :rolleyes: I had some points (23) coming in so if I can claw a few places more than what I have, I'll call it a success.


**Update: I won the first 2 races and got P4 in the second 2. I was able to finish P11 over all picking up 7 places in the championship from 18th to 11th with 55 points from 23. Not bad.**

I'm running 2 btcc games now among with 11 other games...I'd really like those btcc's to end up as soon as possible. They both are academy level games and I've NEVER experimented such vast amount of mayhem starts, collisions, driver errors and mech failures before, even V8's had less. And all this in 20-40 lap races, yuck. It's maybe because of n00bs using high sliders but I think I'll wait atleast 6 months to join btcc game again. :banghead::rolleyes::lol:

We're exceeding my expectations in this series.

What I find interesting about that series is that I have only 2 retirements, one while leading:cry:, and both are due to mechanical problems.

Other than a handful of driver errors and light collisions nothing bad has happened to me, and my pace and aggression sliders are both on 100!!!:eek:

I'm also going to be buying a 2nd KT account very shortly, so I will plenty of slots for any WRF challenges.:thumbsup:
