Well, its the finale of the IRL season unfortunately. Chicagoland Speedway. Dario wins the pole.

Danica qualified 7th. I always hope Danica wins obviously, but at least have Dario finish ahead of Dixon and win the championship.

I'm not entirely sure about the points system in IRL. I guess mathematically, Kanaan would get 2nd even if he DNF's? And if he wins and Dixon and Dario DNF, would it be enough for the Championship?:confused:

I guess Tony needs to win and lead the most laps and Dario finish 16th or worse and dixon finsh 13 or worse and he could then tie and win the tiebreaker by having the most wins.

I'd like to see Dario win it.

Looks like TK is going to finish near the back today. Too bad. I had hoped to see him finish on the podium. Dario needs to get past Dixon in a hurry!! Danica is in 3rd at the moment. Apparently the rev limiter is holding her back a little. Too bad she's not able to go at the max.

Now look at this crap!! They complain about a block, but when you're in 9th a lap down no problem getting in the way. Hunter Raye just cost Danica a place. :mad::confused:

Now Franchitti is having trouble. Sam Hornish takes the lead. Dixon p2, Franchitti p5, Danica p6 as she was forced over the white line. :mad:, AND TK up into 7th!!

I find it interesting that now, at the end of the season Ashley decided to throw her 2 cents in:rolleyes:. "I can't keep quiet anymore. Someone needs to do something about that 23 car. It's ten miles behind everyone else and it's a safety concern. Peoples lives are at stake!" And she may have a point. Buy why just pick on Milka? I'm sure there are others (men included) who are nearly as slow.. Cat fight anyone??

Milka WAS going very slow and almost in the way. I noticed her nearly get clipped by guys going 200+ making her look like she was on the pit lane. It was bad. Maybe there needs to be an xx% rule to keep the pace up.
