Subaru WRC Concept 2008

Subaru is going to release new WRC Impreza somewhere in 2008. It'll propably not be ready at Monte Carlo because they start testing it at October 2007. It will have a totally new suspension geometry but the most remarkable change is the whole appearance. Subaru is finally letting go the old "grandfather" style saloon and choosing hatch back like it's closest rivals.:D

I have seen many pictures of this car online, and I really hope that this is not going to come anytime soon lol. I hate this car compared to the current one they have.

They should have ditched the old design many years ago. :rolleyes:
After Solbergs title Subaru has been going down down down. I'm not a big fan of Imprezas current design, I like that fastback better. Current one is just another modification based on design created in early 95 or such, looks old. :D

They could sure do with a new car Subaru, i don't think any team has ever used such a useless car for such a long time.

I sure hope Petter can start winning them again, it seems a distant memory 2003, how very sad!

I can't wait for the rally debut of this car. I wonder how Solberg will like the new suspension geometry.

In Finlands national N-group, the new 08 Subaru has been slower than older models so far, but it's still in progress. All who drive it say that the car has lots of potential.

Subaru's WRC drivers had the change to test out the new Subaru for four days but the day they will actually use the new design in rallys stays unconfirmed.
