One of those things would not be hard to make, and It would be a whole lot cheaper.
Get the Logitech G25, an old karting seat, and a decent sound system.
Hook wire about 4 speakers for base and attach them to the sides/back of the seat, it's simple and really creates a realistic feel, you can feel it when you rev the engine.
You can even get some wood and build a frame around it all, paint it up, and BOOM you've got your own F1 cockpit in your computer room.
This is one of my plans for sometime in the next couple of years when I get some money:greedy::greedy::greedy:

In the UK there is shop that sells a full frame, with a racing seat, a steering, pedals and an audio system for $800 USD.
Don't know if this is a good price.
But some good simulators cost $40,000. And you can rent them for $2,000 per day.

Why not just buy a fairly NICE car:confused:. I can rent a Ferrari for less than $2000 a day. Mind you, I wouldn't know a good stimulator if it fell from the sky and robbed me blind!

I guess this is a price for commercial purposes. I told them I need it for personal use :D, they didn't give me a better offer.
I really don't know the differences between all those types of racing simulators, but I know what being used by F1 teams are different story.

I don't know what they're using, but I know most of them are on the PS2 or PS3 with a setup like the one that guy posted. I was watching "Inside GP" on SPEED and that was what they had in their house. (Not sure which driver it was) I know Alonso said he prepared for alot of races on the Playstation. I get ready on the PSP myself.

Maybe you are talking about this Force Dynamics simulator. It provides you with 2g+ forces :)
List price in Finland is humble 70k euros

I've been to a similar one, but I don't think it was bouncing as much as this. I can feel some G's, enough to make you dizzy within few minutes.

I just found this online. I mentioned doing a similar thing in the race wheels thread. I'd post pics but it's a flash site. The seat is the official A1GP seat and is fairly well priced.
