Drivers: Elio De Angelis and Roberto Guerrero

Team: De Angelis is in a Lotus, and Guerrero is in an Ensign

Year: 1982

Circuit: US Grand Prix East at Detroit

Race won by John Watson, interesting to not that despite this being a street circuit he won from 17th on the grid.

Keke Rosberg won the title for Williams that year, relying on consistency rather than outright speed. He only won 1 of 16 races that season

The Lotus team was then owned by Colin Chapman, the founder of the Lotus organization. He was known as one of the greatest innovators and talent finders from the moment he entered F1 in the early 60's to his death in the mid-80's.
