Last year M. Schumacher was unstoppable here, Alonso and Fisichella joined him in the podium. This year I don't think we will see 2 Renaults on the podium, but 2 Ferraris or 2 McLarens.
What I hope is that Kimi would win, and maybe Massa finishing second before BMW's. That would keep the championship exciting.

Am I the only one who thinks that McLaren's front wing bends downwards in fast speeds?

Ok I was trying to find videos from this mornings practice sessions ( GO KIMI! :D ) because I noticed it today for the first time. I found this, which is added already 4 months ago to the tube. Appareantly it doesn't bend enough to be illegal. When they show footage from incar-camera at low speeds, you can see the track between the upper wing and the front keel. When speed goes up, whole upper wing disapperas behind the keel.

it has to bend. thats what i thought of the first time i saw them and i am surprised tat they still use them, and now other teams are starting to adopt the idea.

It's definatly bending. I don't know if the camera angle is exaggerating the amount. Either way, I always thought you should be able to have flexi-wings. I'm for many things that improve the technology in F1. That said, I'm glad TC is going away. I wonder if flexi-wings would help overtaking??

Kimi looks in good shape for tomorrow. But it's going to rain (at least the weather forecast puts the chance at 90%), so anything can happen ;)
I just hope the drivers don't complain again about too much rain and run around behind the safety for 20 or so laps. Gerhard Berger said that the Fuji conditions were normal in his days

Alonso scolded Mclaren and Ron Dennis after the qualify. Ron criticized Alonso when he didn't answer the question by reporters about are the drivers treated as equals in their team? Alonso replied today that it's better to be shut up than lie. He also said that he's been talking with DC, Montoya and Kimi and everyone has been happier elsewhere, and now he undestands why. Alonso lost 0.6 seconds to Hamilton in Q3 and didn't eat that. He said that his car was sabotaged somehow.
Oh dear...I think this was the last nail into the coffin and Alonso won't be driving for McLaren next year, nor Prodrive ;)

90% of chances to rain on the race
if that its really true, the race is going to be good :D

It's starting to rain now lightly, but they haven't put on wet tyres yet. They will probably start the race on dry because it's not wet enough

Hamilton out!
OH THE HUMANITY!!
I can't believe he stayed out with these tyres. It was clear that they were giving up. When they did finally bring him in, he made a mistake and that cost him dearly
Now to see whether Massa can catch Alonso to help Kimi a bit in the championship

As much I would have liked Hamilton to clench it, I'm way more excited about Interlagos now!! Way to go Vettel!! I'm glad the Ferrari's took 2 of 3 podium spots too. I'm a Ferrari / Kimi / Mclaren / Hamilton fan in that order. They should just put Hamilton, Alonso, and Kimi out there alone and let them battle it out for the title. Ok well they need at least a few more cars in order for that to work points wise but to hell with the facts.

I'm now watching the gp for 2nd time and checked Hamilton's mistake. His hands were trembling like MS patient when he realized that his McLaren was on gravel and not moving :D

A very good race, but Lewis Hamilton is not so ready to be a world champion, as i thought he was, he is a rookie and i was waiting the whole season for him to make a mistake, because he is a rookie and is normal if he makes mistakes, and now in China he finally made a mistake. BUT i was not waiting for him to make stupid mistakes like this one.
1st mistake, he was fighting for the first place with Raikkonen, okay he wanted to win, but Alonso was in 3rd, just let Raikkonen pass, stay in second and be the champion, Jesus crihst .
2nd mistake, the pit lane entry its wet, much more wet then the rest of the track because their its not a lot of cars passing by there all the time, he was with tire problems, GO MUCH MORE SLOWER, then what he was in the pit entry.
I cant believe that Hamilton can lose this title, he diserves to win the title, but after this mistakes in China if he loses the title its not going to be so unfair at all.
This is the first time since 1986 that 3 drivers fight for the title in the last race
Vettel did a very good race finishing in 4th

The team should have told him to calm down too. He should have changed tires a lot sooner as well. Sloooooooooowwww Dooooowwwwnnnnn!

He was probably going the slowest he's ever driven a F1 car before... but I guess it wasn't enough.

It was probably more the tires fault. I'm sure he's never had that much wear on a set of inters. before. Either way it makes for a great final race!!:D

So if Kimi wins in Brazil, Alonso can score 3rd or below and Hamilton can score 6th or below and Kimi takes the title....or....
If Alonso wins, Kimi is out and Hamilton would have to score 3rd or better to take the title (or less than 3rd to lose it to Alonso)....or.....
If Hamilton wins, he wins.
I'd like to see Kimi as champ, but I'm torn. Either way I'd like Alonso in 3rd.

Situation for Kimi is bit easier because there is Massa to help him. Alonso has to overtake Hamilton and that may cause collisions. Either way it's going to be very interesting last race.
What it comes to Hamiltons DNF, I see it as both team and driver mistake. You can't drive on tires which are basically running on canvas already, Macca should have called him to pit's 2 laps before the accident. But at the time they were excepting that it will rain more, even when some drivers had already gone on slicks and that is why they waited. Hamilton made the error when he decided to trust the team on this, instead saying "****it, I'm pitting now it's impossible to drive."
