What team is that?

Who is the driver?

What is the year?

Who died on this race, fighting for positions with this driver?

Years later other drivers from this team died on this track, what is the name of the drivers?

Who won the title that year?

PS: From this picture is impossible to know what circuit is this, so here is a tip, the circuit is in Europe, and has been or it was on F1 for a long time.

It's not Jim Clark.

Number 28 at Monza was a Lotus driver in 1961, but it was Sterling Moss.

I don't think that picture is from Monza, I can't think of a place at the old Monza where you can that close to the car and get a clear shot. That picture is likely from Monaco, where Clark was number 28.

It must be remembered that in the 1960's a drivers number changed at every race.

I had Sterling Moss in there but I changed it. I just couldn't find the #28 car.

Could the pic be.......awww I have no idea.

This is where I ended up with my Jim Clark answer.

The 1961 Italian Grand Prix on September 10th would have been the culmination of von Trips' career, as a third place would have been sufficient to secure the Formula One World Drivers Championship that year. At the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, his Ferrari collided with Jim Clark's Lotus. His car became airborne and crashed into a side barrier, fatally throwing von Trips from the car, and killing fourteen spectators. ..from wiki.

You're exactly right.

It's supposed to be Clark at Monza, Tripps dies, and so on, You have it all right.

But that picture is not at Monza. It's at Monaco. It's at the old Gasworks hairpin.

I spent 2 hours on Wiki and Google. If he hadn't said a driver died due to that, I woulda been lost. The driver deaths list is not nearly as long (27??) as the all drivers ever list. I used a very scientific method to get my answer. I'm sure Ryan just knows the answers of his head.:lol:
