Just curious if you are going to allow signature pics that we can have in our signatures ? Nothing real big since I know that can be distracting.

Sorry if this brings up old news, I was just curious.:o

We may introduce a thin strip that does not take up much more space than a few lines :)

But full-blown pictures are obviously not suitable to be placed in the signature, and many other forums seem to confuse this concept with photo gallery . It's very annoying

Yeah, I figured about a 500x100 pixels or 550x150, somewhere in that range. I just think a nice signature pic looks good as long as it isnt too extremely large.

No thank you. It's just more clutter on the page.

I'm with salty on this one. I like Jo and my stats, etc. for the WRF BATracer stuff. :finishfirst:

It doesnt really worry me, if there are sig pics or not, although some of them do look mighty cool.

I have a friend that made a few for me, it has got me with how he does it.

These were 2 that they made:

It's mostly about load time and clutter. If you end up with a large pic it looks messed up when you load the page (which can be fixed with pixel limits I know) and if everyone has a pic sig. then there are alot of images to load as well as the thread and youtube vids if any etc. We're already trying to limit the images by using the attachement tool and also cutting back on vids. I know I'd like to put a few images on my sig., but I think for the forums sake it's best not to.
