This morning. The start of a few days off finally, and I thought, this would be a good time to go and buy myself a new pair of kickers. I was due:sick::lol:

I've had a nice pair of Converse for while now. Sorta a skate shoe but casual nonetheless. Simple and not to flashy. Plain tan suede with the Con logo:). Well... Every frigging pair of shoes I saw today were just goofy looking:confused: Stupid color patterns and weirdo designs. The one pair of plain dark chocolate Vans, (very nice and simple) were about 3 sizes too big:mad: 6 different shops, 2 malls and about 3 hours later, I'd had it:mad: Still no new shoes.

Lots to look at in the mall though;):D

I don't like shopping either.

I'll leave it so long that all my shoes and clothes are completely worn out.

That said I do appreciate a nice pair of shoes. I've had my eye a pair of Puma Cat Speeds for a while now. When I got to a Puma store (there aren't many in Ontario) they were all sold out.

They're a bit flamboyant for me as well. I like these ones.

You can also make a custom pair of shoes aont vans or on etnies web sites for about the same price you'd pay in the store. (If you wear that kind of shoe) I have a pair of straight black suede Airwalks. (I won't put much else on my feet outside Airwalk)

Not quite. Close though. They have some black and a little less "driver shoe" to them.

I did look at the Vans website today after my marathon failure of an endevour:rolleyes:

I had a sweeeet pair of white leather Andy Mac Airwalks a year or so ago:cool: Those were great shoes. The suede Cons I have, I would love to find the same damn shoe. I'm on the Mac so I'm too lazy to show pics:rolleyes:

I even EBayed and couldn't find anything decent. I'll just wear paper bags till someone can come up with a decent friggin shoe... And why the hell are they so damn expensive:confused: :greedy:

Try to search for Osiris skate shoes, they have lot's of those more 'traditional' looking shoes. I have 1 pair of dark brown suedes and one pair of black leather.

I was in Italy couple years ago and visited this Ferrari shop...Oh crap everything was soooo expensive. 200€ for laptop case, 1000€ for leather suitcase, 350€ for jacket, 10€ for a god damn pencil :D
I eventually just had to get something and bought t-shirt for 30€

I'm also not a big fan off shopping.

Neeeded new shoes this summer and picked up a pair of Cheap Monday shoes. Went for a nice gold coloured ones. Not really shiny bling bling gold... but more toned down (oh, found a picture I attached). :D

And then I realised that they had an offer and I got another pair for free. Chose a more neutral grey coloured ones.

And if not two for the price of one (which was pretty damn cheap to begin with) I now leave skeleton footprints as an added bonus.

Lately I've discovered that Cheap Monday seems to be the shit around here when it comes to streetwear/skate clothing. I had no idea.

Those look like Converse Pro Stars.

Which I think are the ugliest shoes ever invented.

Chuck Taylors to be precise:D Something has to be said for the staying power of those shoes though. They've been around probably longer than I have:wonder: The original basketball shoe. And my first skate shoe some 20 years ago:eek:

Haha , they do look like Pro Stars. Were really popular a few years back, but I was never convinced either. Guess it works for some people :drunk:

I had some shoes like that when I was a kid. They're ok. I try to stay away from tennis shoes or basketball shoes. These days it's hard to find "normal" shoes. Too much rap culture in the shoe design. I just want some "calm" Airwalks, how hard could that be??!! I have to buy me shoes 2 pair at a time just to be sure I'll have a piar after my current set wear out. I need to find a new brand. Sad thing is, I have a pair of Airwalks that are 10 years or more old that are still in good shape. They just don't make 'em like they used too.

Oh, has anyone seen the old Airwalk F1's?? They used F1 tires to make the soles. I want, I want!!
