P-G Andersson of Sweden won JWRC's (junior wrc's) championship in seventh and the last rally of the season in Corsica. JWRC's are 1600cc fwd. drive cars and maximum age for the series is 28.

Urmo Aava of Estonia, his team mate was leading the for about half of the rally untill he hitted a curb on SS8 and had to retire from the race. Andersson who was at even points with Aava could just back off and drive safely to the finish and win the title. Andersson won the series now for the 2nd time, first one came at 2004.

Could Andersson hit WRC? It would be nice to see Swedish driver there for a long time. :)

I think PG ("Peggen") Andersson's involvement in WRC really depends on if Suzuki enters or not. There were at least talks before that they would step up and that was the reason PG continued to run with the team in JWRC. If Suzuki never steps up I think PG will have it as hard as every other Swede trying to get to the peak level of motorsport. Perhaps he'll get a race or two and then he'll run out of money.
