Ferrari renewed Massa's contract, now he will remain with the team until the end of the 2010 season. I quess that stops the speculating about of Alonso joining Ferrari for 2008. ;)

I think they probably got a pretty good deal on him. He doesn't really have the kind of results that Raikkonen or Alonso have that would justify a comparable price tag :rolleyes:

For sure, Massa is a good driver but not in the same level as Alonso or Kimi, but he improved a lot.....

Massa seems to excel when he is "in the zone". But when not he is quite of the pace.
If you look at races like Bahrain, Barcelona, Istanbul, and most of the European GP at the Nurburgring he is more or less unstoppable. He gets into the lead, into the zone and just drives away.

He is fast when he doesn't have his lucky underwear upside down. ;):lol:

Maybe he is one of those drivers who are fast when they are 1st but driving behind someone makes it more difficult.
