Would You Subscribe to BATracer?

With the current state of BATRacer, and all the talk of servers and money etc, etc... Would you subscribe to it on a yearly basis? Or would you like to see more advertising and the one-time ad or KT charge?

Of course it depends on how high the subscription would be, if reasonable then I think I'd pay some. They need steady income to keep servers running and work morale up.

Let's just say that the price would be the same. 20 bucks or whatever your currency is.

Let's put it this way. There are nearly 70,000 registered members. Assume that only 25% are regular users, of that number. Taking into account the non-KT users and the usual no-show. That's 350 grand a year:greedy:

I'd have to say as long as the ads aren't intrusive when I'm doing what I'm doing on there. Banners etc are fine, just no popups and annoying crap that slows loading or gets in the way.

I wouldn't be surprised, in the internet business, visitors = money.

Think about Myspace and Youtube. It's all about visits.

Here, here, besides there is enough of them on TV, I couldnt handle a lot of them during a game I play(I just wouldnt play the game no matter how addictive it is).

The ad system is a way of giving back to those who donate. But with the saturation in both the left and right column, I don't think it's a successful concept. It's plain ugly to look at now :mad:
