Does anyone out there have any idea where I can watch these races? I saw some really cool online stuff but it was for some kind of subscribers and such. I don't see it on SPEED either so I may be screwed here.

The closest I've seen is a show on SPEED. I think it's called 'World Sport', but I'm not sure. It's only clips and highlights with a bit of news. It's a good show, but I certainly isn't a whole race:wonder:

Here's an idea for SPEED! Lighten up on the NASCAR a 'bit' and perhaps showcase the WORLD of racing:thumbsup: SPEED could be SO much more...

I think you should try that tvu/tuv player thing (never remember how it spells.) You can see atleast F1 races there so I think it could be possible to see V8's also.

Maybe Bigpond Sport is your best bet, you pay a subscription to bigpond(ISP) and you can watch the races live on your computer.

http://v8supercar.bigpond.com/live_race_engine/choose.aspxStupid hyperlink keeps coming up, I know I know how to do it, just fiddly.

If you can't watch it on TV I think the second best option would be to register at racing-underground .com and start downloading. You need a Bittorrent client though.

It looks like there was some SPEED coverage last year so there's hope.

I just got to watch race one of the Clipsal 500 from Adelaide:D That was the first time I got to watch a whole (nearly whole) V8's race! Very entertaining;) What a bumpy track!

The pit area looks deadly:eek: Those guys in the pits must have one hell of a life insurance policy:wonder::lol: Are all the pit areas in Aussie V8's that chaotic and scary looking???

It was on tape from SPEED network from the States, on cable. Shows you how much attention it gets in North America:rolleyes: Just for comparison sake, the Canadan Superbike series is played months later than the actual event:mad: Coverage of Motorsport in Canada is pathetic at best. That's why I have the WRF:D

WOW thats no good. Australia gets all the australian stuff on time but we get the international stuff 2 weeks after it was on. Like WRC, Moto GP, F1, Champcar. They are on in the middle of the night though.lol

So you get nothing all year. Then in December and January you get the whole series.
You are pretty much in front of the TV for 2 months if you are really into it.

DOH!!

It's cool huh? I gotta watch out for more. I usually check the listings for racing as soon as I get it.

You got to watch Bathurst and Surfers Paradise. They are very good to watch around there. Mainly at Bathurst where they get air.
Do you get to watch the top ten shootout?

Negative.. I haven't seen it listed. If it lives up to it's name though, I'm sure I'd enjoy it:D I guess that happens at the end of the season eh? I'll keep my eyes peeled for it, and if any of my North American counterparts see it listed. Let us know:thumbsup:

I think the top ten shootout is part of qualifying.

I think the drivers with the top ten times from the regular qualifying each get 1 lap to show their stuff that determines the top 10 of the starting grid.

Yeah your right Ryan. Its great to see the drivers pushing the cars to the absolute limit and sometimes way over it. Like Dick Johnson in his Greens Tuf Falcon.
