Ah yes, the F1 brain trust is at it again. Now Mad Max is being quoted as saying that Lewis Hamilton's dominant skills may be "bad for the sport." He fears that people will start to feel like they did during the reign of M. Shumacher, and be turned off to the sport.
Are you effin kidding me!! Is F1 a feeder series. NO!! If Hamilton is so much better than everyone (which he isn't at this point) then maybe you should get better talent in the other teams.

Mosley really likes to talk sometimes. Absolutely pointless statement. Schumacher's reign had a lot to do with the car, and when it didn't, the season wasn't that bad (See 2003, 2005, 2006).
It's also far too early to compare him to Schumacher. What makes the German unique is his consistency over the years. Who knows where Hamilton will go from here? Winning this early may mean he may burnout quickly

He is black though so I'm sure he'd get just as warm a reception by those country boys as JPM did.

I hadn't even occured to me that Lewis was black. That's what I was confused about, when Max mentioned a Brit coming to the States would upset some:confused::lol:

It's unfortunate that it's like that in NASCAR and many other sports in the US. The fact that he's a Brit. really doesn't help. Those people are still hung up on the Civil War so I'm sure they still hate the Brits from the Revolutionary war.:lol:

No man, now we have the 'terrorists' seeking 'global chaos and destruction'. Maybe the Civil War concept will make a comeback in a few years

They can't tell the difference, trust me. They will always have the "South will rise again" mentality.
