Another rumor I highly doubt. Although Redbull fully intends on getting points and wins. I can't see this in the near future but maybe 2-3 years out I could see the $$ being right. With Newey on design there is potential (should this rumor be true) for Redbull to contest for 3-4 place in the near future.

With Brawn on board Alonso could be enticed, without brawn renault's his best option for wins

well, i dont see that as an impossible thign to happen, but i think that Alonso on Red BUll is very possible.

But if Ross go to RBR, the team is going to be very strong.

Ross Brown, Adrian Newey, Geoff Willis and Alonso. For sure a combination like this one could win a lot.

Spanish newspaper Diaro As has reported that Alonsos manager Garcia had a meeting with Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz and also Gerhard Berger from Toro Rosso. Rumour says that Bourdais could be asked to spend one more season in Champ Car so that Coulthard can switch to Toro Rosso, thus vacating a seat at the Red Bull for Alonso.

You know now that you explain it this way it could make sense. Still I heard that Coulthard's contract with Red Bull is pretty tight. I'm sure he watched out against being demoted to the small Toro Rosso team. I think Renault would be a better choice for Alonso :wonder:

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has announced that the team is NOT seeking Alonso as a driver. It's official. That leaves him Renault and Toyota and of course the bottom feeder teams.

What I've just read is that Mateschitz said that Red Bull would be an option with lot's of potential for Alonso, but they are not interested of signing drivers with just 1 year contracts. :p
