Kazuki Nakajima is going to team up with Nico Rosberg in 2008 season. The team announced this today. It's been told that Williams pit crew is furious about this! (joke)

Nakajima sure knows how to drive already, he's just a bit too wild occasionally. You don't get poles, podiums and fastest laps in your rookie GP2 season (without TC) without some serious skills. :)

Well that's good to know because I did not make much of him originally to be honest. Now that you tell me that he may be able to push Rosberg on a few occasions. I guess Hamilton finally debunked the notion that you should not fear a rookie as a team mate

I guess I'll have to give him another chance to shine.

Nakagima is a really good driver, everybody remembers of the incident on the pits, but nobody says anything about the really good race that he maked, being a rookie......

Yeah, but they say the team will get Toyota engines for free now.:)

That is possible, or atleast they could get a nice discount which would free some resources to other things inside the team, and that would be very welcome in team Williams. It seems to be very important for japanese manufacturers that they have a countryman representing their product in the team. Japanese are crazy about the sport. :D

I do however think that Nakajima should have stayed in GP2 for another year. During this year a lot of drivers complained in GP2 about his dangerous driving. He seemed to have a tendency for seeing overtaking opportunities where no one else really saw them.

But bold drivers in F1 do make crowd favourites.
