Well, Robert Yates Racing has announced that next year, they will start using the #28 car. The driver will be Travis Kvapil. The switch was because Dale, Jr. was given the #88 car to use at Hendrick's Motorsports.
The #28 car hasnt been used since Ricky Rudd back in 2002.

Is that the same car as Davey Allison's Havoline?

Yes, Yates Racing bought Allison's old team and they took over the car.

I wonder if Havoline is still going to sponsor it :D

It would be cool to see a COT version of Allison's car

It's a shame he had to die in that helicopter crash. Been interesting to see how the rest of his career played out.

I would have liked to see Lake Speed race against Scott Speed :D (are these two related?)

I would have liked to see Speed back in F1. But speed has proven himself that his skill set is more geared towards fighting in giant packs than hitting every single mark with precision (as F1 demands.)
