Andretti Green Racing has signed up Christian Fittipaldi to be the other full time driver in the American LeMans Series for 2008. He will be co-driving the #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura for AGR. His teammate will be Bryan Herta.

I dont like Cristhian, in my opinion the only reason for him to be there is his last name....
I just hope that with Bruno Senna is not the same thing, but with Bruno i can wait to see some results, he's talented, but Christian :stop: AGR made a mistake doing this, there is a lot of good driver that deservres this seat better then him

I dont know much about Christian, so I take it , he is no Emerson?

Fittipaldi did manage to win the Formula 3000 championship back in 1991 (some five points ahead of Alex Zanardi)... but since then nothing much seems to have happened. He's always seemed rather unspectacular.
The highlight of his career must be the flip at the finish line in the Minardi. :lol:

Yeah, after reading that link you gave driverdb, it looks like he has only won 1 race. That isnt spectacular.

1 in Grand-Am Rolex
2 in CART
2 in Formula 3000
1 in British F3
2 in South American F3
He won the Brazilian F3 series as well, don't know if those races were a part of the South American series...

Ok, my bad, I only saw 1 win and lot of 14 races, 0 wins and 18 races, 0 wins..
