Toyota announced on Monday that Timo Glock will race for the Japanese team in 2008. The 25-year-old German, has signed a multi-year contract.
"The team hopes an agreement can be reached with BMW-Sauber to allow him to test at Jerez on December 4-6," Toyota added.

I would be very surprised if Trulli wasn't there. He had a solid, if unspectacular, season in 2007.

Other than the one point Glock got in 04, why should we be excited for him? An honest question, why should I expect something from him?

Because he was a dominant GP2 champion which usually means he will do fairly well in F1. Not a gurantee mind you. That and he has a cool name.
