I have to admit I'm a fan of art (mostly photography). I don't know all the artists, or the styles etc. I'm not an "aficionado" if you will. I just know what I like when I see it. Unfortunalty for me I was not blessed with the talent to be an artist. I do the closest thing to it that I can in my AutoCAD work. It's an art form in itself (I design subdivisions).
I'd like to see some examlpes of what you guys are into. Please be sure to credit the artist if you post an image.
These are some different works by a close friend of mine Levi Rosen
You can find these on imagekind.com should you want prints.

Hehe , I'm in the same boat. An F1 car in 2D is the best I can do. Probably others could classify it as an F3 or GP2 car too if they saw it . But when it comes to using Illustrator or Photoshop, I'm very good. Thank you technology :D

I really like the 3D art that Julian Beever does. He is from England and he paints on sidewalks with chalk some amazing pictures that look like they are 3D..
Here are some examples..

Ya, that guy has some really cool stuff. It looks really odd when you're not at the right angle which makes it all that much cooler.

I would love to see some in person. Those drawings are so good, it almost looks photoshopped in the pictures.

I've seen photos of these from other angles. The image is a camera trick. You have to be at the right angle or it looks like a big blob on the ground. Not photoshop though. That's what impresses me about it.

It's a Scott Mutter print. He's known for "photo-surealism." It's a few different photos combined as art (very well IMO) Here is the caption to the print.
A lyric I wrote isn't meant to define this image but to speak to it and at the same time to introduce a truism of human nature:
I'm a pilgrim on the edge, on the edge of my perception
We are travelers at the edge,
we are always at the edge of our perceptions.
--Scott Mutter, Surrational Images
Here's another.
