This is going to be a great year for American motorcycle racing fans. Along with the MotoGP making it's two stops, for the first time in 3 years, the WSBK series will return with a stop at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele Utah on June 1st. It will run the the same weekend as the AMA's planned event there:thumbsup:.

It will be the first time the AMA has run the full length of the track (4.5 miles/ 7.24 Km), and the two series will run different configurations of the track to avoid lap-time comparisons.

It's absolutely fantastic that the WSBK, which mind you is also a very high level of racing, is going to stop there next year .

Is the WSBK a very popular series to follow in the States? I can't imagine it being more popular than Formula 1 for example :wonder:

It's the most popular Motorcycle series in NA, but compared to F1 no.

Do you really think WSBK is bigger in viewership than MotoGP or the AMA series?? Do have any ratings numbers to back that up? I'd like to see those. Considering WSBK hasn't been in the states to race in 3 years, and has no American riders (that I can think of at the moment). I'd have to disagree just based on that alone..

I confused AMA with WSBK.

I meant AMA is probably the most popular series in the US.

Ya, AMA is pretty big. I would say AMA, MotoGP then anything else.
