Yeah, what an exciting finish. The good ol' Tide car. I remember it well.
Did you hear Darrel Waltrip pulling for Craven in that clip ?? I guess he had to since he drove the Tide Car too That was good stuff...:lol:

Yeah hes a little bias. :lol:
Lmao he drove it to? I was wondering why he was supporting one driver. So he was like a guest commentator?

Yeah, Darrel drove the tide car in the late 80's and in 1990. It belonged to Hendrick Motorsports actually.
Darrel is a full-time NASCAR commentator/announcer on TV now. I love to listen to him while I watch a race.
Funny comment EIR..:lol:

For those that dont know, the race was the 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington in 2003. Ricky Craven edged out Kurt Busch to win the race. It was the closest margin of victory in NASCAR history. He won by only .002 of a second !

Yeah, I believe it may be the closest margin of victory of any racing league.

Yeah it probably is. I dont know any other race's in Nascar but that one looked like it could be closest.

They didn't take any disciplinary action? Nobody of the two could be seen as guilty of overly aggressive driving? :wonder:

At Qatar in 2004, 125cc riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Andre Dovizioso, crossed the line side by side and could not be separated on time to create the first ever dead heat in grand prix racing.
A photo from the start line gave the verdict to Lorenzo.
Does this count?:wonder::lol:

One time in Karting I was scored as 0.001 behind a guy.
But it wasn't for the win, it was for like 6th.:p

That car always remind me of Kvapil.
I always thought that Kvapil never got a fair chance in NASCAR.
