The 2008 BRP Can-Am Spyder hit stores late this fall. A cross between a bike, ATV/Snowmobile and..??:lol:

With a 998cc Rotax engine, 106hp/77ft.lbs torque, Electronic fuel management, variable assist power steering, TC and ABS, this ain't no 'Big Wheel'! Especially considering it starts at 20 grand:greedy::eek: It comes with either a sequential manual or electronic automatic transmision, with belt drive. I don't know about this one. the pics at the BRP site are airbrushed as much as Pam Anderson's Playboy shots:rolleyes:

I guess they tuned the Rotax motor up a bit. Imagine 106hp in a Go-Kart.

I like it a little. The idea isn't as new as they make it out to be. Look at the T-rex. That's been out a few years.
