I figured I would post this since I know quite a few of you like to make liveries.:)

Forsythe/Pettit Racing is offering fans a chance to design a color scheme for a champ car and atlantic series for the 2008 season. Kind of neat.

Sweet. We have to get a high quality WRF Champ Car due to the fact that one day there may be some WRF sponsorship on the car. Hehehe, when I hit the lotto. :D

You know Dornboos car would be PERFECT for a WRF logo!! ;)

Yeah, I thought it would be a cool thing if you won it. I just feel the prizes of winning (other than your paint scheme on a car) were kind of weak. Just 2 tickets to a race of your choice. It said nothing about any VIP treatment....hospitality, pit/paddock passes...nothing of the sort.:confused:

Mind you, to be fair, we (at least I) don't know how much promo stuff goes on other than this. I'm sure they give away a fair number of tickets to various ad camps, promo groups etc. But still. That's pretty hi-profile. They certainly could have done better. At least they're trying to get the fans involved.

You should at least get to ride/drive the car once. Knowing your idea is on the car is cool though. :rolleyes:

That would be cool. I figured it would at least say you would get to go in their garage/pit areas for a race weekend.

But yes, it would be cool to have your design on there.

Hehe :lol:, well they did say they wanted to stick to their color scheme of blue, with perhaps some red. I don't think they will appreciate the WRF logo, but maybe I'll give it a shot in a week or two ;)
