Facebook Account

Why doesn't the World Racing Forum have a dedicated Facebook account? I know some people don't like the whole facebook thing, but like a lot of bands that have their own site to increase popularity, i think it wouldn't be bad for WRF to have its own site...if not then one could create a group i guess... what do you guys think? :confused::confused:

And or a Myspace. I don't use facebook but I use Myspace. Not a bad idea. We could toss stuff up there for Frontwing.net and P1AFR etc. too.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it may be easier for those who have facebook/myspace accounts to place a banner on their page. I know Jo is very busy just keeping up with this site. I know adding those pages will cause him to spen even more time with it. I've placed a banner on my myspace page and one for BATracer and Frontwing as well.

Does anybody know how to put a banner into your facebook profile? I'm trying to add http://www.worldracingforum.com with the banner onto the space where it says: Website...
If there's anybody who knows how please save me from google irrelevant search results...:banghead:

I think maybe myspace would probably be better because facebook is used alot more to discuss things and write on walls, which at the same time somewhat defeats the purpose of having a forum in the first place. Not sure, but for now i think the idea of myspace is probably alot better. You can customize it alot more aswell.

I have an HTML banner made up already if you can use that.

I'm trying to find a way to put the banner on facebook, but it seems like there's no way to edit your profile page like in myspace. There are these weird facebook applications that i'm flipping through, maybe one of those will make it possible, but for now there's nothing i can do. I'll keep everyone posted :banghead:
