Ferrari are very early this year, right? They usually present much later if I remember correctly... :wonder:

I think so. For having a "whole new car" it seems even earlier too.

Yea, they've made them really fancy lately. Wouldn't mind attending one myself, but definitely not worth a plane ticket

Ya, I liked last season's McLaren ICE car. I bet it had to be pretty cold at the launch to keep the full size F1 Ice sculpture from melting.

This isnt too off topic, its car related but I saw where Bridgestone will be the sole tire supplier for F1 for the next 3 years. I guess they were in 2007 as well.

At 20 degrees Celsius a block of ice that big will last several hours before it shows serious signs of melting. If they made it and then kept it chilled until right before hand they would have had plenty of time to do the unveiling and other ceremonies.
As long as they had a way to remove the water that did melt off.
I saw a full sized Honda ice-sculpture at a ski resort a couple of years ago. Of course it was outside, in Canada, in January.

Yes that's right. Prior to that there were 2, Bridgestone and Michellin. After the USGP fiasco and F1's desire to have a "control" tire they went to a single MFG.

Super Aguri are to launch their 2008 car at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya next month, the team announced on Tuesday. The SA08 will make its debut at the Spanish circuit on February 19.
Team principal Aguri Suzuki, technical director Mark Preston and the Japanese squad's race drivers are all expected to be in attendance to discuss the new car and the forthcoming season.
Super Aguri finished ninth in the 2007 constructors’ championship after scoring four points.

When you're referring to the F1 teams the one in your pic is Torro Rosso. There are 2 Red Bull based teams in F1, and that one is the Jr. squad. I like the Red Bull scheme too.
