Dakar starts this weekend, does anyone follow that?

Nothing like watching the trucks rolling over, or down a 50' sand dune! It's usually on OLN in Canada

I'd love to see WAY more of it. I know I've seen it on OLN in the past, but I'm not sure how much time passes between the taping and the airing:wonder: I want to think that they have daily updates, but I think that's merely a wish...

I was just going to pick up Charlie Boormans book the other day. I've seen the Documentary about his time there. That's one SCARY damn race. Didn't 3 people die last year:confused: (Not like anyone hasn't died during Dakar). Something makes me think one of them was a Repsol driver, and I think one guy on a bike was struck by one of the trucks in a night stage:wonder: Sad...
