Honda informed that they have hired Austrian veteran Alexander Wurz to a position of test driver. Last year Wurz drove for Williams where Rosberg clearly outpaced him. He also has history with Benetton and McLaren.

He also has history with Benetton and McLaren.
And more importantly he was the 1986 BMX World Champion. :finishfirst:

I thought he left F1 coz he was not able to give time to his family..why he returned and that too in Honda? Was he sacked in Williams to give way to rookie nakajima or wht ever his name is....

You never know. My wild quess that he was so bad mentally beaten after losing to Rosberg in every aspect that he decided it's time to call for quits for racing at F1 level. Testing in the other hand is whole different thing. :)

This doesn't makes sense to me either. He quit Williams before the end of the season and now he's back as a test driver?? Ok buddy.

With the limited testing in F1 I don't think he needs to spend that much time apart from his family. Not as much as a full racing season around the world would mean.
