Ralf Schumacher Tests a DTM Car

Former F1 driver R. Schumacher will test AMG Mercedes C-Klasse DTM car at Estoril track on wednesday and thursday. Just one or two days ago Michael Schumacher told to the press that Ralf shouldn't even think about DTM. :lol:

Ralf needs to find his groove somewhere. I think DTM is an ok move and if he does well then great.

I agree. DTM is the way to go for Ralf.

I still think Klien should have taken that ChampCar offer. Look at Doornbos :thumbsup:

He should do alright in DTM as long as he doesn't drive a Toyota :D Or a Lexus for that matter. There's some rumors that Lexus will joing the DTM mainly because of a DTM-like IS-F concept car the had on show at the 2008 AutoSalon in Tokyo. But we'll see ...

I would love to watch a DTM race properly, great racing. Not sure about Ralf testing though. It's a bit gimmicky isn't it. You can just hear Norbert saying 'well we got one Schumacher, doesn't matter if he's useless'

You're right, the marketing potential of a German driver like him in a German team like Mercedes is extensive to say the least. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, which puzzles me a little bit...

Ralf is going to test again with MB so maybe they are serious about him getting into the series.
