This isnt a picture post but I wanted to share this information.
I got to talk to Danica today(yesterday now) on the phone during an interview she was doing. This is thanks to GoDaddy:thumbsup:
She has no NASCAR plans at this time and I asked her about her future with Andretti Green Racing. She says its good. She is there for this year and next. After that will remain to be seen. She says its always good to keep her options open.:)

I should have. She would do well in any series (in my opinon).
She said the only sport that she will do is racing, no second sports. She does want to be a fashion designer though.:)

:(
Both NASCAR and F1 needs a successful female driver.
I wonder if Erin Crocker can finally step it up into Sprint Cup.

Danica would do well in both series but she really likes indycar and she wants to win the 500 pretty bad and Im sure she will, just a matter of when.:)
Not sure whether Erin would be competitive in the sprint cup.

How can you say that when she's yet to do really well in the series she's in now?

Just because she hasn't won doesn't mean she hasn't done well. I'm not saying she's constantly done well but at least give her SOME credit.

I'll give her the same credit I give any other driver who has spent 3 years with 2 of the top teams in the business. She has 3 podiums and somewhere in the range of just 25-30 laps led. Almost any other driver with a record like that would have dropped.
Contrast with, say, Vitor Meira who has also driven the last 3 years on a top team without winning (Although Panther Racing did do very poorly n 2007). He has 10 podium finishes in the same time period.
Who gets more media/fan attention?
I'm all for a racing series marketing its drivers, but there are some far more deserving than Danica Patrick.

If you look at her without the female bias then yes, you have a point. BUT if you compare her to most other female (and many male) drivers she IS doing quite well. I agree that she needs to do MUCH better to maintain. She gets the attention because she's a woman and is competing to some extent. The media covers what the fans want and the fans want her.

Ech, with Shawna Robinson's failure I wont make any speculation about Crocker. But from watching ARCA I saw she atleast deserves a chance.
Patrick is more promising than Crocker. But she seems content with where she's at right now...atleast until she wins the Indy 500 and the championship...maybe then she'll follow Franchitti

Ryan, I just dont think you like Danica but hey Im not mad or anything. She has a lot of critics and bashers and Im used to having to defend her a lot!;)
But I didnt want this post going the direction talking about her driving talent. I just was just posting some cool information about the phone interview.

The best way to silence critics in any sport is usually to win. Not that it would silence all critics, but it would help her a lot and maybe help some move on
Let's keep it at that :p
