As the interest in F3 around here seems to be limited to me and Fahad ( ;) ) I thought perhaps a few of you might have missed this spectacular accident from the 2005 F3 Euroseries (1st round at Hockenheim I think).

No injuries so it's safe to watch.

(And for the F1 fans this race was won rather comfortably by Lewis Hamilton in front of Adrian Sutil.)

HUH! That proves that even F3's are very safe, horrible looking accident. What really happend there I dont know, the guy infront of Di Grassi brakes earlier than usual or what?

Yeah, he definitely braked a bit sooner than Di Grassi. :D

Van der Garde seemed to be moving a lot to block Di Grassi right into the braking zone.

In the words of the commentator "Ein absoluter Horrorunfall". I'm glad he was alright, and that most of the speed was absorbed because of the large area beside the track.

That fence is not means to hold back cars :wonder:

I am surprised to see him jump and walk just after the crash.
