Honda presented their 2008 ride at their headquarters in Barckley, England. CEO Nick Fry said that at season opener in Melbourne, every part of the car will be different than in 2007. Ross Brawn said that the new car has had fewer problems than any new car in his career so far. Honda will start their official testing program later this week.
The livery is much better than the one they used last year, but I still don't like this Earth-car idea, it's just so fake.

I agree, the new look is much better. I still like the old Lucy Strike or the Black car look though.

I'm glad they 'cleaned' their 'act' up. As EIR already said, much, much better . With the old livery I could barely breath
I hope all this PR promoting confidence of success for this season becomes at least 20% reality. Haven't you become immune to all this talk? :wonder:

I still agree with alot of the critics that is contradictory to promote a "green" program while continuing to race F1. I wonder how much Honda is pushing the FIA to adopt cleaner fuel tech.???

Not much to wonder about. F1 cars are great platform to communicate a new marketing strategy (as is the case for the Honda Company). I like their old livery, the one with which Jenson won his first Grand Prix in 2006.
I'm pretty sure Honda is not pushing very hard and general interest is low. Of course once the motion is on the table, Honda will be one of the first to release a statement saying 'In line with the beliefs and principles of Honda, we fully support an environmentally-friendly development direction for the sport of Formula 1'

Certainly not as bad as last year, but still the ugliest livery in F1. Certainly they could have come up with a more esthetically pleasing livery and still keep the eco-friendly theme:thumbsdown:

Yep, this one looks like the old but they have masked it with white stickers....

Well the livery couldn't have been any worse than last years, it'll be interesting to see if they change the wing design to be like most the other teams, and what's with the "fan" shaped barge boards, looks like a peacock!

Honda's bargeboards look like the ones at 2002 Ferrari.

lets hope now that they have ross brawn, that we will start seeing positive results. otherwise they are just proving to be the most uneffecient team in the lasr decade.

I think Toyota can still proudly hold that title even if Honda has another disastrous season

True
but still it is very difficult not to improve, i mean they cant get any worse. The curve eventually has to go up sometime.
i'm not sure if Rubens even scored a single point last season.
its a shame for Jenson, whom is obviously wasting some of his best years with the team whilst, they are being so uncompetitive.

I dont know.... all the F1 cars that you look have all the kinds of wing is every part of the car and when you look at Honda the car looks very "clean"
