I wasn't sure where to put this but I think here is best. This will likely only apply to those WRF members from Canada.

TSN is increasing its broadcasting of racing this year from 105 races to 121. This includes all races from the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series, all races from the NASCAR Nationwide Series (former Busch Series), all 13 races from the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, all 18 Formula 1 races, and all 16 IRL races.

It's not all good news though. This means that TSN will not be showing any Champ Car races in 2008.:(

Sounds like good news to me if I lived in Canada.:)

Well, scrapping Champ Car coverage is of course a blow. That really underlines the discussions we have had in the Champ Car forum about lacking TV deals :banghead:

Yeah, thats a good point. They cover a lot of major motorsports so they should cover at least some ChampCar.

To my knowledge there was none last year on TSN either.

The Score, another all sports station in Canada, showed some, and Global covered the Canadian races. But other than that it was hoping to find the races on an American channel, which is rare.

Yay! It used to drive me crazy, if there was a golf tournament on it would always get priority, and in Toronto CTV always broadcasts the Canadian GP. I have always felt it should be all or nothing, don't black out the network the real fans who have watched all year.
