This kid is very bright and very quick. Will make a great addition to the Atlantic paddock.

Yea, Morad is still very young and I think he can learn a lot from the Atlantic series. He just needs to keep a cool head and focus on developing his skills

Canadian Daniel Morad will join Eurointernational for the 2008 Champ Car Atlantic season, after winning the 2007 Formula BMW USA Champion Ship.

This is probably not big news to most, but is to me because Morad is another guy I raced against, along with Robert Wickens, in the late 90's and early 2000's.

It's also good to see Canadians still getting in there even in the absence of the Players driver development program which was instrumental in developing the talents of drivers such as Jacques Villeneuve, Greg Moore, Patrick Carpentier, and Alex Tagliani in the 1990's.

I never noticed this thread until now.

I saw Morad race Formula BMW at the Canadian GP in 2007. He completely dominated the race.

ahh.. that's my fault JoStream. I should have posted the original in here, but it was the middle of the night and I wasn't thinking straight! (posting under BMW instead of CCA)

It's certainly big news to Daniel ;)

We're going to have quite the showing as far as Canadian's go in the Atlantic group this year.

Morad with Eurointernations, Adrien Herberts is back with Paladin (we announced that last week) Hinchcliffe with Forsythe, Lacroix with Walker & Forest with PR1 Motorsports.

What series did/do you race in Ryan?
