You're both right! New music basically sucks. I don't even listen to the radio anymore.

I'm a big Metallica fan, although thier new stuff is pretty bad, and almost everyday I still listen to stuff from the Black Album.

I saw Metallica in '89 @ the Saddle Dome in Calgary during their 'Justice for All' tour. It was a great show! But alas, to me, it was their last good effort. When Cliff Burton died, so did Metallica.... :( Master and $5.95ep are my fav's.

Oh man, Metallica still rocks after '...and justice for all' TSK TSK! :lol:
Of course there are lot's of great metal classics on older albums like Whiplash, For Whom The Bell Tolls and Blackened to name a few but I think 'black' album is TEH BESTEST metal album in the history! :D

Check out the band Lamb of God, Album Ashes of the Wake. It's a metal masterpiece!
