Well. Villeneuve's NASCAR season was short lived.

Basically he's dropped from BDR because he "couldn't find any sponsors." JV said he had CGI on the verge of signing a contract and they needed one last push. But "the check never came". BDR blames Craig Pollock for this mess.

Skinner and Benson will be taking over the 27 car and it's likely JV's nascar career is over :thumbsdown:

Villeneuve has said he's still trying for a full time ride.

He's has enlisted the help of former Champ Car team owner Barry Green, for whom Jacques won the 1995 Indy 500 and CART title, to help in finding sponsorship and a ride.

That's a shame, although there is still hope. I really want to see him over the course of a season. Although his Busch appearances can hardly be categorized as superb, with some more experiences I'm pretty sure he can get his act together.

He might go back to BDR. I think they left on good terms. They just need a damm sponsor
